The number of new handsets released onto the market each year is truly remarkable. Many have a shelf life of less than six months, so it can be challenging to stay up to date. The complexity of mobile accessories is even more extreme. For retailers, knowing which products to stock is a definite quandary.

To overcome this challenge, 20:20 Mobile developed its proprietary Insight™ programme. Insight™ turns range planning into a science and dramatically improves retail performance. With Insight™, we match products according to their feature sets and positioning, against customers, in terms of their demographic profile. This empowers our clients with knowledge of the product range that will appeal most strongly to the specific clientele profile of a retail chain or location.

Product packaging and collateral

Product packaging is acknowledged to be an important factor in retail success. Packaging communicates explicit messages through printed words and images, and implicit messages about value, quality, and environmental awareness. The design of packaging affects transportation costs, handling efficiency and utilization of shelf or hanging space in store. Packaging can be used to bundle products to create new propositions, and to display them to best advantage.

At 20:20 Mobile, we have extensive expertise in the design and delivery of product packaging and other printed collateral for our clients. We are practiced in working within strict branding guidelines and to short timeframes. We have a strong commitment to the use of recycled and recyclable materials to minimize the environmental impact of discarded packaging. Repacking of products is a standard process in our distribution centres, so we can quickly make products retail-ready according to the day-to-day needs of our clients.

In place of an external agency, many of our clients employ our design services for the development of innovative and practical ideas for the storage and display of retail merchandise and point of sale materials. We are able rapidly to turn around small and large batches, making inventory available for sale with the minimum delay.

Campaign management

Sophisticated retailers of mobile products deploy integrated sales and marketing programmes to drive revenues. On top of the typical monthly calendar of handset bundles and tariffs, retailers will use seasonal events and exclusive offers to generate store traffic and excite sales.

Many of our clients depend upon our marketing services to manage campaigns, and upon our supplier management functions to obtain funding from product vendors. 20:20 Mobile’s marketing services encompass the development and delivery of advertising, posters, point of sale materials, brochures, display units, catalogues, inserts and product packaging.
